My top 3 Wirral walking spots

Written on: May 10, 2025

There are so many incredible walking spots on the Wirral. I have complied 5 of my favourite walking spots.

1. Storeton to Thingwall Public Footpath
This is my absolute favourite walk. The path contains a field of cows (please keep your pups on lead through this field so that the cows are not disturbed, there is also electric fencing and your pups do not want a shock). There is also a cross over a beautiful farm, train tracks and a woodland strech. This walk continues onto Arrowe Park and further, it is a incredible long walk. If you decide to do this walk, let me know your thoughts.

2. Arrowe Country Park
Arrowe Country Park has it all! It has a woodland walk, large fields, play area, stream and beautiful scenery. I take a number of my pooches to this park and they adore it, it is a great place to practice different training activities as it is such a large area there lots of room for everyone. I park either in the Toby Carvery car park or the Invigor8 car park. The car parking can get quite busy due to the golf but I have never struggled to get a space.

3. New Brighton Beach
New Brighton Beach along with the dips is also in my top 3! The beach is beautiful and the pups love it. The dips are also lovely to walk on, another great thing is Catherines Coffee on the dips. She has created an old horse box into a mobile coffee shop and it is delicious. I really enjoyed grabbing a Vanilla Latte on my winter walks.

If you have some amazing walking spots, let me know!
